Currently, I am a Senior mechanical engineer for Raytheon. For the past year at Raytheon, I have been in the analyst and test group using finite element analysis (FEA) to determine component durability computationally. Tasks include dynamic and static loading on components as well as test data validation. I currently have a secret clearance.
Formerly, I was a Senior Design Engineer at Ethos Energy. At Ethos, I designed components for re-rate and repair of steam turbines including blades, diaphragms, and other stationary components using similar tools and skill I am currently using today. Work included travel for onsite test observation, shop support, and various other tasks outside of the office.
Aside from work, my spare time is spent on problem solving tasks, including repairing my moped(s), maintaining my car, and fixing/adding to my antique radio collection. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing hockey, hiking, and skiing as well as enjoying time at the lake or ocean.
